Chrisland University has recorded another milestone as it secures full accreditation in all the 11 programmes presented for the November/December 2023 National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation exercise. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS FAAS, made this known on Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 after receiving the official result from the National Universities Commission.
According to her, the programmes that earned full accreditation include
• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Criminology and Security Studies
• Economics
• Political Science
• Psychology
all from the College of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences.
Others are
• Computer Science
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Molecular Biology
• Biotechnology
from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
• Public Health
from the College of Basic Medical Sciences also earned full accreditation.
The Vice-Chancellor in her further remarks attributed the remarkable success to the University’s commitment to quality, excellence and high academic standard.
