LAUTECH ANOUNCED MATRICULATION DATE FOR 2023/2024


DATE ANNOUNCE FOR THE MATRICULATION

This is to notify the newly admitted candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session as well as the entire University community that the university Management Committee has approved that the 2023/2024 Matriculation Ceremony be held on FRIDAY May 17, 2024 at the Great Hall. 

NOTICE TO ALL FRESH STUDENTS ON COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS 

This is to inform all Fresh Students that the 2023/2024 matriculation ceremony has been scheduled to hold on FRIDAY May 17, 2024 at 9.00 a.m prompt in “The Great Hall”. To this end, all concerned are requested to visit their respective Faculty Offices for collection of academic gowns for the ceremony from WEDNESDAY May 15, 2024 & THURSDAY May 16, 2024. The gowns collected should be returned to the respective faculty officers. Failure to return the gowns as and when due will attract a fine of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) only per day to be paid to the Bursary Department of the University through the various Faculty Finance Officers. All matriculating students are expected to assemble in front of “The Great Hall” by 8.00 a.m prompt and to be led to their seats in the hall by their Faculty Officers at 8.30a.m. any of the matriculating students who is not seated in the hall at the stipulated time shall be locked out of the venue of the ceremony. Also, all matriculating students are expected to be properly dressed for the ceremony as anyone who is not decently dressed shall not be allowed into the venue. Faculty officers are to please enforce proper dressing of their students.

LAUTECH MATRICULATION CEREMONY DRESS CODE

 This is to inform all Fresh Students that the 2023/2024 Matriculation Ceremony Dress Code is white shirt over black trousers with tie for male students and white blouse over black skirt for female students. All matriculating students are therefore directed to adhere strictly to the dress code as anyone who does not conform will not be admitted into the venue.
